Yes, mosquitos were bad for us. There were sooooo many in the room and they didn’t seem deterred by my bug spray from a resort in Mexico. I wonder if housekeeping kept the door open when they went in to clean during the two days we were in the base room. We would make sure to shut the door as quickly as we could each time we went in or left.
Once you’re closer to the ocean, mosquitoes aren’t an issue. We didn’t even have an issue by the pool. It’s just the location of the standard award rooms…hot and humid and next to greenery.
