Just don't go to the check in desk with all the people present. Have the others walk around the lobby area, look at the birds, have a seat, etc. If you want that fifth wrist band, just stop by the desk again later and say you lost one. But really, there was no reason to have a wrist band even on, maybe for the slow and boring slide. When in the club lounge, just have the kids not wear the band and it's fine.
That's great to hear. Glad it worked out for you. Appreciate you following up and sharing the datapoint with me. I have our room booked already and I feel more confident in keeping the reservation now. If you don't mind my also asking, did you end up keeping the 2 queen room or were you upgraded?
