That's a lot of driving. Also keep in mind there is no freeway through San Francisco. After the Golden Gate Bridge, you'll be on city streets til you get to 280 going to SFO.

I've had a lovely lunch at Wente Vineyards in Livermore. I do recommend it.

Even Livermore to SFO, keep in mind that bay area traffic is congested and can take much longer than you think.
