My protocol from T5 Flounge has been to exit the lounge by T-40 for T5B and by T-50 for T5C and head straight to the near side escalators. Usually arriving at the gate just as Group 1 boarding has been announced.

Yesterday, the transit wasn’t at the station. In general, walking is quicker from this point to T5B. We beat it to the concourse given the absence of other elevator traffic.
