Re entered the US yesterday and had a line at GE for the first time ever. The lines for citizens and for visitors were still long but at least they didn't stretch back into the hallway. They need to improve the signage in that hallway - it seemed a lot of people were coming back to the hall from the lines for some reason, and everyone was getting in the GE line.

To say nothing of the usual fubar'ed situation in the baggage claim area. Heroic efforts from the belt attendants to move stuff and prevent jams. Why can't they have a better experience for ORD customs? It's embarrassing. If this were my first impression of the US as a foreign visitor I'd find it very off-putting.
