Your comment on senior management is also spot on. They made a big fuss at check in telling us they assigned us a "fantastic room on the first row with great views" and even made a joke about having to get it "approved". The room was simply a base level room to the east of the lobby with no views to speak of.

We had a blast in autumn / fall 2019 at Zoe , thank goodness relatively generous then & not at today ‘ s rates but bad enough .. not surprised that both the GM and HM ( covering one too ) then have moved on . AMANs loss . Ernst used to understand AMANs or what it takes to be AMAN of AZ era during his tenure at Kila .. perhaps that was taking its toll , so going with the current is well “ more rewarding “ for management

We were hoping to return in spring ‘ 20 but you know what happened the following year

Now planning on our usual August in Bali , but Kila is going the way of Zoe too
