I have always got 6038 miles AMS to CPT and return so was surprised when on my last trip out I got 6038 return 6020. OK so its 18 miles but I was fascinated by the change. Wrote to FD and got a reply:

Please be informed that mileage can slightly change. From January 2005 on you can now earn 6020 miles for the stretch Amsterdam- Capetown.

Is this happening on other routes? After all 18 x many thousands pf FD journeys is quite alot. Or is the world indeed shrinking!
