recommend bringing your own food - if it were my family member, I certainly wouldn’t risk several long-haul flights, even if they purportedly had the “right” meals
unrelatedly, assume you’re visiting family or the like if headed to NBO? As you probably know, nuts and seeds exceedingly common (and unlabeled) in foods there - especially peas, chickpeas, and cashews (in oils, pastes, etc. used in preparation, so not always obvious)
even something as “benign” as rice could be cooked with these items
