Yes I can confirm that your entire transaction will eventually be reversed as it happened to me, so no this not a hack. Scroll back to page 4 and you will see several of us who had this scenario- sometimes it takes a few weeks and other times a few months but eventually you will get your points refunded, the 35% rebate reversed, and you will be charged the amount that you were refunded in $$.
