Gotcha. I landed at 6:30 AM and went there to sit for a little bit and do some emails; I was also in BCN for 14 hours and didn't get a hotel, so needed a spot to get situated.

t's a small room with coffee, OJ and some continental breakfast. This was about a month and a half ago, so relatively recent datapoint.

If I had a do-over, I would go with what happiest_at_40000 suggested, head into town and try for an early check in. If you can't, drop your stuff off and wander. Tons of cafes and stuff that are nicer than the lounge.
