SAS Connection LHR-Oslo-BGO Without Through Ticket

Hi,
I am flying next week LHR to Oslo (Gardermoen) with Sas Plus Pro (booking class A, service class W). After I booked my original ticket I had a slight change of plans and purchased a completely separate ticket direct with SAS on the same day from Oslo (Gardermoen) to Bergen. The second ticket was purchased with Eurobonus points and is (Booking class X, Service class M).

I have 1 checked bag which will be under 20kg. There will be 2 hours 15 minutes between the two flights, assuming they are on time.

My question is, will I be able to check the luggage at LHR and have it go all the way to Bergen and also transit myself by staying airside at Oslo?
If the first flight is delayed enough to cause me to miss the second, presumably SAS are not legally obliged to put me on the next available flight to bergen as the tickets were not purchased together...but will they anyway?

Regarding checking the bag all the way through I have had the following separate responses from SAS CSRs via online chat.
Person 1: "Yes, ask at check in desk at LHR."
Person 2: "No, but ask at check in desk at LHR"

Separate to that, regarding the question around airside transit at Oslo. (bearing in mind I am a UK resident, travelling on vacation only, so not coming from Schengen and not on a special visa etc)

On the official Avinor page I found "avinor.no/en/airport/oslo-airport/plan-your-trip/transfer/domestic-transfer" (I cannot post as url as my account is too new)

"In order to use domestic transfer, you must have booked a ticket with an onward connection where the entire journey is with the airlines SAS"

So that would be a no then.

But further down it merely states

"Checklist for using domestic transfer
  • Your journey is with the airlines or combination of airlines mentioned in the table above.
  • The journey in its entirety is on the same day/date, and within the period 7am – 11pm.
  • Your baggage tag is marked with your final destination and not "OSL".
  • Your baggage does ~not~ consist of animals or weapons."
So if SAS are willing to check the bag through, maybe it will be ok?

Whereas there is an older document which states
"avinor.no/globalassets/_oslo-lufthavn/planlegg-reisen/connecting-norway-steg-for-steg.pdf"

"Passengers with separate tickets (two separate reservations)" (can't transit airside)

I have also emailed Avinor for clarification, but doubt I will hear from them..

I know Gardermoen well, but am debating whether to bid for an upgrade on the second flight in case I need to exit to landside and then come back in, as will then have fast track and sas plus check in priority..
Is it worth it for potentially 4000-5000 extra EB points?
I have never used the self service baggage drop at Gardermoen for SAS, but presumably is available rather than the large queues I have seen for SAS Go check-in..

thanks
