I have nobody involved in this flight so it doesn't matter to me, but it would really tick me off if I did. A storm just hit MHK, so I decided to track the flight coming in from DFW that was supposed to land at 11:12. I watched it on flightaware circle a couple of times and then divert to KC about 20-25 minutes ago. During that time, the AA app and website did post a couple of delays. But once it diverted, they never updated their delay and it still shows landing at 11:47 (10 minutes ago) when in reality it is almost to land in KC. I know enough to check other places than AA, but most people do not. If I were picking somebody up, I would be incredibly upset with the bad info that the app was giving. The delay and diversion is completely understandable as I can see the lightning, but they need to figure out how to give accurate and timely info, especially when flightaware does.
