They are using direct delivered DL A350-900s on AKL-LAX which have 1-2-1 D1 suites config as below. The ex-LA A350s haven't been refurbed yet and still have 2-2-2 config in D1, but are not currently flying AKL-LAX route. DL considers both "true" D1, but one is considered a "suite" due to a door and the other is not.



The ex-LA A350s D1 config will show as following and the window seats don't have direct aisle access.
