JAL is likely aware how freely AA gives out frequent flyer miles and doesn't want to just give away their F seats and cabin for so cheap when they'd prefer to maintain the integrity of their cabin and make money on it
I'm pretty sure JL doesn't really care about how easy AA miles are to amass. My sense is that the main reason JL award seats appear more scarce these days is because demand is much higher now than it was before AA rolled out the 450k awards. The supply flow doesn't seem to have changed much though.
