Chase CSP, called no offers. Closed card. Annual fee refunded almost immediately. Agent didn't do anything to stop me. Full disclosure, I was already a bit pissed at chase as they just rejected an application for IHG business card due to me having too many accounts many of which have low utilization (even though the rejection said I had a credit score of 861 out of 900). And I called their reconsideration number and offered to move credit from another business call and they still rejected me. Although it is true that I have a lot of underutilized cards, it doesn't change the fact that I spent over $50K last year on chase credit cards and denying me this IHG card is not a good way to show appreciation.

So after closing my CSP, I told the agent to close my underutilized Chase Freedom Unlimited card.

So now I have two fewer underutilized cards. Thank you JP Morgan Chase. I'm now putting a lot of dollars on my Wells Fargo Autograph Journey which gives me 5% back on hotels and 4% on airfare. I spend a lot of money on hotels.
