As a Platinum member, did you request any suite upgrades? I'll obviously book the cheapest standard room (which I believe is the one without the pool), but I'm wondering if it's worth requesting the pool upgrade but at the bottom floor.

I know the beaches at this side in Mexico is not ideal, but from the pictures i've seen, it looks like the sand is quite nice (white, clean, etc.). What was your experience like using the beach loungers?

The main pools seem pretty small - did it feel crowded around the public areas?

Thank you again!
There are three pools and one is adults only. With only ~125 keys there seemed to be enough room for everyone as we never had trouble getting chairs. They also enforce a one hour rule to keep people from “reserving” pool chairs.

I didn’t request an upgrade but no harm in asking.

As for the beach, it will likely be seaweed season when you’re there so I don’t think you’ll be impressed by the beach. Typically this part of Mexico sees seaweed from roughly April til October. They do a great job of cleaning up the sargassum but it’s a constant, losing battle.
