Why should BA rebook to a indirect routing let alone rebook OAL when pax have already been rebooked on a perfectly suitable flight less than 3 hours later .
The requirement is to rebook under “comparable” transport conditions. This doesn’t mean identical, but regular economy isn’t comparable to WTP so they are in breach of the regulations.
Also they are contractually obliged to provide WTP.
