With checkout time being what it is and limited late checkout availability even as a globalist, my wife will want someplace to change and do her makeup, etc before we head out. Yes you can easily store your bags with the front desk or in your car since its really safe there as its all behind the guard controlled gate. You can use all the facilities so you can change in the changing rooms/rest room areas. Timing wise to make it back to the bay area its usually a 2-3 hour drive in the afternoon depending on traffic so in reality you have to leave by 2-3pm. They are very nice about letting you stay on property your last day.
