Ibis Styles Lisboa Liberdade
- Name of the hotel: Ibis Styles Lisboa Liberdade
- What is your ALL status? Silver
- Were you (or for multi-stayers were you generally) happy with the hotel/stay? Yes
- Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive? Booked a suite, got just that.
- How are the rooms? Pretty good and very surprising for an Ibis, as I believe there are not many properties of the brand that have suites. A large living room, with sofa-bed for two, work desk and a TV. Bedroom had a storage space, safe, mini-fridge and another TV. Both TVs have streaming services available. Bedroom and living room are separated by a huge pivot door, that can be tricky to handle.
A very small bathroom and a good shower.
- What was good and what was bad?
Good: Very friendly service. Fine continental breakfast (12 euro per person), with a very cool pancake machine. Games lounge with table soocer, pool table, and a vintage arcade machine (Street Fighter!). Pirate themed decoration throughout the whole property, including costumes. Great location (two blocks from Marques de Pombal square and the metro) and an adequate restaurant for simple meals.
Bad: Too few power outlets in room?
- Did you get club lounge access? How was the lounge? No lounge.
- What about welcome drinks, welcome amenities or any other special perks? Welcome drinks for three (got three glasses of wine).
- Value for $ or Vouchers? Would you return? Definitely. I believe this place is way above the average Ibis.
