I had a cancellation come through at 4am recently, so had no choice but to call. Rebooking on another carrier would have been an ideal service recovery but this wasn't offered. Would have potentially saved a UK261 claim too.

Yes, it was quite a slow process, the line isn't great, and the staff member kept repeating something like, "we will try to find you the best option" every time there was a pause, which became a little tedious after a while. Having a number to call 24 hours *is* certainly appreciated though.
