Many programs allow their higher tier elites to gift status to someone, so if the status was obtained though one of those gift mechanisms it would be fine. Selling isn't the intention of the gift allowance but it's very difficult for a FF program to prove that it was any different to someone who gifts status to a spouse or friend. If the status was obtained through some fraudulent manner and selling status miles would qualify as such, all bets are off.

i mean it could work ? No need to worry if they find that it’s maybe not valid on their list ?
I think they would just delete my FF number on my ticket and let me travel like a normal passenger without FQTV
