As a Platinum member, did you request any suite upgrades? I'll obviously book the cheapest standard room (which I believe is the one without the pool), but I'm wondering if it's worth requesting the pool upgrade but at the bottom floor.
I know the beaches at this side in Mexico is not ideal, but from the pictures i've seen, it looks like the sand is quite nice (white, clean, etc.). What was your experience like using the beach loungers?
The main pools seem pretty small - did it feel crowded around the public areas?

my wife and I were at the Saint Regis Maldives a few years ago, and that was our first time at st Regis as well. Hard to get better than that.
We stayed at the St Regis in Mexico in October and it was outstanding. I emailed the hotel a few weeks before our stay requesting this specific room upgrade I wanted and they were kind enough to confirm this prior to arrival. I am titanium elite by the way. Personally, I don’t care much for plunge pools and I also preferred to have the nice view of an upper floor versus being on the ground floor with no view to get the plunge pool. The beach is beautiful.
Highly recommend taking a regular room on an upper floor over the bottom floor plunge pool rooms unless plunge pool really means a lot to you.
