I’m a TA and dont have an issue with 1 night bookings. If you know the hotel, room type and dates then its easy because it takes me minimal time to book and you get the benefits. But if you’d ask me to give you several options in various cities for a one night stay beforr you decide, then I would be hesitant (unless you’re my repeat/existing client)
