I think what might be happening with UA29 is that by the time they got and installed a new crew, it would mean arriving into SIN close to or after midnight. Leaving at 2230 this evening gets us in bright and early (0520) into Singapore.
Separately, and a little ominously, they’re still scrambling to find a crew for delayed UA29.
How does the situation look like now? Are you flying UA29 there and having a small layover and hoping back on UA2? Are you still doing this in BE? Best of luck!
