I believe the more local buses are on the east side of the overall Kanazawa station, while these were on the west? Some info regarding the Komatsu bus. No reserved seats, so first come first serve. Depending on flight, be there half hour early maybe to guarantee a seat. Bus runs on a schedule on their website based on the flights of the day. Was worried pickup being scheduled so close to my flight departure time, but we got there as scheduled and Komatsu turned out to be even smaller than I thought. I think one international flight at a time, so not much traffic through security and immigration. Note on Shirakawago bus: be there at least right before the bus leaves (reserved seats), because it will leave right on time without you. Witnessed this myself.
