The ceilings definitely went up and while many people may dismiss it now, it’s not a good sign.

Vasu was one of the last defenders of AAdvantage because he needed it to be what drew people in to book direct, and indirectly to make up for poor soft product. Now that he’s gone, I’m not sure the rest of the executive team has any idea why people choose to fly AA and I would expect that nothing is sacred now.
