that’s LHR-IAD? Are you sure there aren’t better options compared to WTP? I appreciate you may have been offered WTP in the first instance, but perhaps LHR-DUB-IAD with the transatlantic on EI? The EI flight seems to have availability on J.

regardless, have a read of the compensation thread as you are due a fare refund for the downgrade.
