But I should point out that MTEL is not the first company in Europe to offer free roaming in China. China Mobile UK have a MVNO in the UK under the CMLink brand that includes roaming in EU, China and HK and a few other countries in their data packages and other possibilities to have both a CN and UK number on the same SIM.

Interestingly in addition to their monthly plans which give a an allowance of data to use in CN and HK they now also have an annual plan.
