I wouldn’t normally be worried, but for whatever reason, the hotel is completely sold out for two weeks in October, and that’s making me nervous about available inventory for upgrades. Hopefully that’s just a fluke due to some ...... buying out the property.
2. I’m talking to the hotel directly about the extra nights and they’ve sent me a link for payment. Any ideas whether this will qualify for the Aspire $200 credit? I know the boat prepayment does, so wondering if this is an effective workaround, since I’m not paying the deposit via Hilton.com.
Thanks for any insights!
Odds of OWV upgrades are low if they are sold out. They were very stingy with upgrades in April, even choosing to leave a lot of OWVs empty on some nights of our stay. We loved our upgrade to a villa at the top of the hill so did not push the issue. If you really want that OWV then paying for it on your paid nights is the only way to guarantee one. Just don’t be surprised if they make you move back and forth. We never saw the inside of the base award rooms so can’t comment on them.
