I had my bag and contents randomly swabbed for explosives at BRS a few years ago and the result was positive. After a bit of questioning, I was asked whether I’d had any building work done recently. I was in the middle of major work at home, so the conclusion was that this was the cause. (I can’t remember what it was exactly, but I think it was something to do with mortar. Cue the jokes …)
