Can't imagine the airline risking the immense financial fallout if something happens to its expensive planes, cargo, and passengers because the flight deck crew didn't do the right thing.
Shouldn't this be the responsibility of the training school? After accepting the trainees, the school is responsible to hone their skills, etc., before giving them the clearance to fly.
