I didn't know what thread to put this so trying here...

I had a flight for 6/18 OMA-IAH booked paid F. I saw that on a later flight, same day, I could change to Y for a $50 refund and that it was J8, PZ1. [[Eta: I was switching flights no matter what the price was not the driver here!!!]] I switched and it all processed just fine including the refund. On seat selection page all of E+ was blocked so I picked a random seat in back. Seconds later, I went to apply +Points. It said "waitlist"... Weird. I went and searched the flight and the flight was now J5, PN4, PZ0. Three seats gone in seconds!!!

Went back to select seats and now there are 3 E+ seats. I took one, but clearly me switching but not yet even applying +Points triggered the system to clear some upgrades. Never seen that before, thought I would just report.

Still feel good about my chances and I might not be taking the flight anyway. Gig'em Aggies!
