There are more flights in general between NYC and Madrid than NYC-BCN as Iberia has 2 flights a day; also American is suspending its JFK-BCN flight after Labor Day until next year due to delays in deliveries of Boeing aircraft.

can’t yet recommend sights or restaurants in Zaragoza but hope to remedy with a visit from Barcelona in coming months!
