It’s a little interesting to me that the reason behind this was “compliance” with PHP 8.4, but PHP 8.4 final doesn’t get released until November. 8.4 Alpha 1 didn’t even get released until June 6. So for feature-impacting releases to be hitting prod nearly 6 months prior to GA, when the thing you’re trying to get compliant with just had its first alpha release that same day, is… interesting…
