That's some good news !
IHG is remarkable sparse in Hawaìí,
HIX in Waikiki,Honolulu is fine for a stay,
as a good cheaper alternative for its location and compared to other hotels
but has ofcourse nothing in tropical resort vibe.

2026 is very promising but if you google maps the Coco Palms Resort in Kauai
It'll even take a lot of magic .....
or is it going to be build by the mythical Menehune folk still residing on Kauai?
