For what it's worth I always double check at check in with VY and always obtain a physical BP from them just so I can speak to a human to ensure they have my IB+ number on it.
My last two VY flights taken last month in May (BCN-LHR and back, both booked through VY and not a third party TA or IB or BA) posted correctly to IB+.
I occasionally do that in the BCN airport, it is a good reminder. In BCN they are all VY employees and usually know what they are doing. In Berlin, the whole staff is outsourced and works for multiple companies. Once when I asked to add my IB+, and no queue behind me, the person didn’t know what IB+ was, tried something and couldn’t figure it out at all. Not sure if it was a real try with lack of knowledge or just lazyness.
