Perfect. I canceled the flight with BA. Was refunded only $90 per ticket.
Fast forward to now. I have spent over 6 hours on the phone with BA. I never get past the call center manager. I am always promised that I am right and the refund department will call me. It still hasn't happened. I spent $8000 with BA on this trip and if they aren't going to give it back, I will just use it for a different trip. But I am sick and tired of talking to the call center and getting nowhere.
Any ideas?
If the ticket was for travel to and/or from the U.S., file an Air Consumer complaint with the U.S. DOT, which will forward it to a competent person at BA designated to respond to DOT complaints.
