The booking page, which forms part of the contract, states that there is a fee. The amount of fee is in the email.
While that was my recollection as well, I just made a points reservation a few days ago, and I pulled up the reservation confirmation email. There was absolutely zero mention of a cancellation fee. (But as I posted above, it is mention on the bookings fee.)
