The problem is, they use the going rate if calculated as if you are arriving that day, if you no-show or cancel an award stay after the deadline... so when you book an award stay, the room rate could for example be $250, but when you get to the date of arrival that going rate could've jumped 2-3+ times that, and they charge you at that higher rate despite no indication during booking process of that being the case.
