Well, it depends on how many miles you are willing to spend on your award. A regular TATL return business award from the east coast costs 155,000 miles and about $160 in fees, and there is quite good availability for such awards even on short notice. However, if you go with a Mileage Bargain award, that's 55,000 miles and it costs waaay over $1,000 in fees (might be even close to $2,000 now). There is very limited availability, and you have to book three months in advance. And there are awards in between with in-between costs in miles and fees. So, YMMV.
