JM Marriott Masai Mara and Al Maha
we have 7 nights on the ground for the trip in the first week of Sept this year. currently hold a 4-night reservation at JM, and a 3-night at Al Maha near Dubai, all reservations are in Marriott points. worried we will get bored at JM Masai Mara after a couple of nights, thinking of cutting off one night from Masai Mara, to have 4 nights at Dubai, two nights at Al Maha, and two nights at a city center hotel. what do you guys think? we are a H/W couple in our late 50s if it does make a difference.
last year sept we stayed 5 nights in Al Maha and had a great time. I think 4 nights would have been better but 5th night was free on points.
dubai city center was nice for an overnight stay. We didn’t find the city to be that interesting. Very much a spectacle like Vegas. Also it was sooooooo hot. Probably the hottest I’ve ever felt. Which means lots of indoor activities, which leads to malls mostly.
