Back to Tokyo: Tokyo Part 2 Day 1
We had a smooth trip back to Tokyo on the Nozomi Shinkansen and before we knew it we were in the stunning Hyatt Regency Lobby. We were created by a porter and escorted to check in where there was not a line.

Unfortunately, our room not he 23rd floor was trapped in the 90’s!

The pictures aren’t great…but nor was the room.

Worst bathroom of our trip.

At least I was able to use two free nights, and the hotels concierge was amazing at helping me secure reservations.
For our first lunch back in Tokyo, we went to a local independent sushi place which we enjoyed.

Lunch feast part 2.

From there, we did a nice walk around Meji Jingu which was not super crowded.

After Meji Jingu we stopped at Tokyo Midtown Hibiya for a pastry snack.

Then, we walked around Ginza until our tonkatsu omaakse at Ginza Katsukami 2. I will let the pictures do the talking of our sensational meal!

We throroughly enjoyed the meal and left pleasnetly full but not overstuffed. I know omakases are a little too trendy in the US right now, but this experience was exactly what I was hoping.

To be continued…
