i have absolutely no experience doing this - but just throwing an idea out there. What if you bought a latitude ticket, see if it was upgradable. If yes, then buy the flight pass, cancel the lat ticket, and hopefully upgrade your flight pass ticket? Not sure if they and how quickly they return cancelled tickets to inventory.
