Welcome to FT.
When you say "canceled," is this an advance schedule change or a day-of (or within 1 day or two of departure) cancellation?
DL doesn't operate YVR-CDG, so I'm guessing you're on Air France. Are you on a ticket booked through DL but operated by AF or on an AF marketed/AF operated ticket? Are you on a ticket booked directly through the airline or through a third-party agency or travel agency? These factors will play into what you can expect for flexibility and whether you may have any luck switching your departure point from YVR to SEA.
ETA: As you were on an Air France operated flight, you may also want to look into EU261 to see what provisions, if any, EU261 allows for in your situation (whether an advanced schedule change or day-of cancellation).
