Suppose I have a Latitude Eastern Canada to Northern Africa / Europe flight pass, this pass does not (as I understand it) offer complimentary J upgrades. Can one expect (not that it will always happen I'm sure) that if the AC website says a flight has space available to upgrade for a Latitude cash booking, that a flight pass booking would also upgrade? Or at the very least is this how it 'should' work? I know everyone says to buy Lat, try the upgrade and cancel if it doesn't work, but the flight pass as a whole is not refundable so that doesn't really work if I'm buying a flight pass with the hope of securing upgrades, this is obviously specific to the situation where R=0.
If it's a latitude flight pass, surely you can book a flight and cancel it at no cost if the upgrade does not clear, no?
