On your ticket, does it show a fare and taxes or does it say something like IT or BT rather than the fare?
It shows $2,275 for the fare and $439.50 for the taxes, though I believe a large part of that "taxes" sum is a carrier-imposed fee in this case. Guess I'll just call AA and see what happens.
