I have just started a 5 night stay here. What a mess. First to answer some questions and update a few previous threads:

Globalist Breakfast - Still the limited menu. No staff I spoke with had any news about a change. The front desk refused to let me complain to a manager and told me to take it up with Hyatt. Note that they check your ID at breakfast and all members of your party have to eat as one group.
Check-in - Globalists can use the VIP check-in - Turn right when you enter the property. It's about 75 feet down the corridor and just says "VIP" on smoked glass. Resort Fee and late check out were both proactively dealt with so at least that works.
Water - You have to get it from the front desk or VIP each day. You are supposed to be issued "water tickets" but they don't seem to have any.

Room - I am in a high floor King (renovated) over looking the strip. It's fine but basic. No desk. There is a high table and 2 chairs but it is right under the AC duct and not usable. Wifi is excellent. Bathroom has new wallpaper but is other wise dated. There are only 2 flimsy plastic cups in the room and it took an act of God to get 2 real glasses delivered. There is only 1 tiny trash can.

Pools - I can see three pools from my room and they all appear to be open.

I used to use the Signature suites at MGM when there was a Hyatt partnership. That was a much better experience. Hyatt should be embarrassed to have their name on this property.

If you are like me, and thought "gee, it can't be that bad..." Think again. Of course the super cheap rooms are also bringing a lot of noisy (presumably drunk) guests into the property.
