United747 - I guess that is part of the question - do we have any idea how those seats E+/E (especially the middle ones) are assigned to stand-by, etc?
I kinda get the sense it is either random or up to the GA's.... I recall a few times GA's telling me that they will try to "protect me" by leaving the middle/row empty but not sure if that is a real thing?

have found that sometimes the last row on a 777 DEN-OGG/OGG-DEN will be empty to stretch across and sleep.....no one seems to want the last couple of rows
