this is getting far too complicated than necessary….

I understand assigned seating to do international flying.

issue 1– family seating together.

this is a big reason it has a large customer base is the family travel market

issue 2 — status with booking and fare type and getting seats.

nothing mentions status

currently those who have airline status has more sear booking options in the middle zone. Those at high ststus or booking class can get the most seat options. On other carriers you have first class, premium class/ exit row, status class, thr back of the plane is cattle class

issue 3. — early boarding and o er head space.

If I’m flying to Orlando an I’m in “ bus select” I see half the plane board for early boarding claiming miracle flights. What if I’m A group, I may be forced to check a bag.

Alternate…just follow the other carriers

bag check is free
business select gets premier class booking seat selection such as front with extended leg room like a FC of 2x2 with wider seats
anytime can get business class front of the plane or exit row. Those with high status cannalso get these.
WGA plus and status gets seat selection in the middle or back
WGA has limited selection in the last 10 rows of the plane.

in seating reserve a row or two for wheelchair flyers

sell meal/ snack options
Sorry, I have no insight or input into any of this.
I honestly don't know anything more than what you have seen stated publicly, so I will refrain from comment.
