China Airlines interlinking reward and revenue booking
Hi everyone,

I have a redemption ticket in J on CI81, TPE-LHR, departing at 0805 booked with Qantas classic rewards. In order to get to Taipei, I plan to book a revenue ticket on CI52, SYD-TPE, arriving at 0540 on the same day the TPE-LHR leg is departing.
  1. Is 2.5 hours enough time to transit at TPE or is it too tight?
  2. Am I able to check through bags between SYD-LHR eventhough the tickets are separate?
  3. Can I link the tickets so that China Airlines bump me onto the next LHR flight if my SYD-TPE flight is delayed?
